Which graphics card set up is better?
#11
Well I've decided to go with the 5870 just because when i go to upgrade in a year or two the 5870 will be relatively cheap so i'll just buy another one and go crossfire then.
Plus either option costs the same and apparently get the same performance but on;y having one card will require less power and cooling.

My next question would be what kind of overclocking can you do on these. I seem to remember someone being stable at a core clock of 900 but my knowledge fails when it comes to graphics cards.

Both of the choices will work perfect, since the cards are new. You should buy the cheaper one.
My software company: Porosis Software
Games: Terrantula
Apps: Mathanasis, ColorGrabber

Well thanks for the help but my budget got a bit of a breath of life and I'm going with 5970 and will be going crossfire when they get cheaper.

Epic. I'm jealous, I'm running a single 5770.
