I've used Music Maker Trial Version.
But now I got Fruity Loops Studio 8 Producer Edition, much more complicated but more professional!

Ah cool! I use Reason 4, it's brilliant, very user friendly.
I would recommend it to anyone starting off.

Get Reason, you wont be disappointed. You can produce very professional sounding tracks (unlike Fruity Loops).
If you do decide to give Reason a try, I will teach you the basics.
