Hypothetically speaking, could (or is) SupportForums run on shared hosting without causing too much stress on the server CPU/RAM of the web hosting server?
Of course, it all depends on which host provider you go with, but with all of the addons and constant users, is it possible? I just want to get a general idea.
This is probably a hard question to answer, sorry.. :\
Also, server location, does it really matter if the main attraction is in the US?
Should I locate it in the middle of the US, West Coast, East Coast?
Does it really matter for me where I put it?
I was thinking maybe West Coast helps Asia whereas the East Coast helps Europe, as in speed or ping.
