Was the language filter removed? - Elektrisk - 02-10-2010

Or is it just like that in the OSHIT area? My word, "fudged", was not censored to "fudged". I'm just wondering, 'cause I know you (Omniscient) said that the filter was in place so kid-friendly search engines would index it, or something. Or you'd get a higher ranking. I don't remember. Something like that. Did this change?

Oh! he has filter the word fuc*k to fudge but not fudged to fudged.
So language filter is not removed however Omni won't filter all the "bad" words it's yours and ours responsibility to keep this forum as much as possible away from swearing posts.

Oh, I understand. Well, I was under the impression that he didn't mind anymore, 'cause I thought it had been removed. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Actually thank you Elec, i found a bug in MyBB because of this thread.

RE: Was the language filter removed? - Omniscient - 02-14-2010

Oh what's that? I kind of doubt you found an actual bug.

RE: Was the language filter removed? - Gone - 02-14-2010

Its not a major bug. But if you use a blank mycode in a word that is blocked, it bypasses the filter. For example. shit
