SSH/VPN - Canoris - 01-01-2010

I need an honest opinion on the following aspects of both forms of secure connection:
1. Compatibility between OSs
2. Configuration Difficulty
3. Secure?
4. Difference in Interfaces
And please use the poll to help me out even further, thanks!
