Plugin to stop quote chains on Mybb - RPicard - 12-17-2009
Hey, I've been trying to find the plug-in that prevents quotes being included in other quotes. For example:
I say: Cool
Guy 2 says: "Quote Rob: Cool" Agreed
guy 3 says: "Quote guy 2: "Quote Rob: Cool" Agreed" Same here
I'm fairly certain it' active here on SF. What is the plugin?

Perfect thanks. I assume that means 1.6 is the next release? When is it scheduled to come out?

No ETA, never is, but we hope to have it in beta soon.

You can "quote chain" if you click reply

That's not what I was referring to. I was talking about when you quote somebody's post with a quote in it. By default it includes both quotes, and the next would include all three. There is a plugin that prevents that (see MattR's post).

Sorry man, I knew what you ment but it seems omni has fixed it! I remember being able to get the really long quote chains not to long ago whilst replying to a thread, but not whils quoting.

Yeah, especially in PM's when neither person can be bothered to delete the quotes, they go on for miles!
