No it's not a complicated logo at all but it looks good. It appeases my sensibilities of a good logo design. The feather imho is what works best. It has a unique quality. A feather is light and it's positioned like a quill. The colors are perfect too. I think it really brightened the forum.

Feather kinda ruins the contex of the forum. Everything is in perfect location and that feather is in a random place dropping. Tho its good, no argument on that.

Its re sized now I can tell looks better and not so bright nice.
