Yeah a change to the theme would be better. Something modern, simple and clean would do.

Thank you for making this suggestion, but Omniscient has always made it clear that he's the designer. Maybe a chance that he could add other colors like in Hackforums having purple or something.

Theme isn't flashy at all, so it fits a forum that is about support and not about how "amazing" visually the website is, but I still find it old and outdated, haha.

I might disable all plugins, go vanilla MyBB 1.6 then upgrade to MyBB 1.8 and get to work. Probably sounds like the best idea since we'll be updated and I can check my plugins and have the opportunity for a fresh theme.
