Does putting your phone battery in the fridge make it better? - Starbreak - 03-07-2012

My friend told me that she put her phone battery in the fridge for 30 minutes, and it cools the battery down.

Apparently, she can leave her phone on for the whole day, with the battery still at 99%.

Does putting your battery in the fridge increase it's ability to hold electricity? Thanks for the support :]

Sounds like bull to me, the battery would go back to normal temp after a while and if you put it in straight after taking it out of your phone the sudden temp change could cause condensation and maybe break the whole battery. I'd try googling it if I were you though.
