I have a linksys e1000. here is a picture of what my screen looks like when i go to change my static IP Spoiler (Click to View) Whenever i go to change the digits for "Internet IP Address:" A pop up comes up "The IP address and the gateway are not in the same subnet mask" This is where i get loss can somebody please help me? RE: How can i change my static IP? - Peter L - 08-14-2011 You cannot PICK your own ip address lmfao. Call your ISP. Better yet, don't hang around with skiddies who DDOS and you won't have to worry about this. RE: How can i change my static IP? - ๖ۣۜDunsparth - 08-14-2011 i called my ISP they said that i would have to manually change it in my router :| And i am not worried about SKIDS i got banned from a site and they IP banned me and i need to change my ip ^_^ RE: How can i change my static IP? - Kom - 08-14-2011 Well if you simply want to ban evade, why not get a proxy or a VPN? Would be much easier and would quickly allow you to change ips from a wide variety. RE: How can i change my static IP? - LancerImpact - 08-14-2011 Here, this should probably help you out quite nicely: http://tinyurl.com/3gswqjh RE: How can i change my static IP? - Джеймс Krew - 08-14-2011 unplugg it for a while like 30 min plug it back in should get a new ip RE: How can i change my static IP? - ๖ۣۜDunsparth - 08-14-2011 I am going too do this all while sleeping tonight 1. Release my IP over night for about 9 hours. 2. turn off my computer while that is happening. 3. unplug my router & modem and hope for the best. If these do not happen i am not going to pay my bill and wait till the ISP comes and disconnects my internet then i am going to have them turn it back on. my friend said this is a method that works. RE: How can i change my static IP? - Carbide - 08-14-2011 For my ISP, (Static Ip Address), they told me I would be assigned a new ip address if I didn't have my modem powered for 2 weeks. It ranges from ISP to ISP, but you can also ask them to change it, if you have a good reason, its free, if not they charge you. Good luck with your overnight plan. RE: How can i change my static IP? - morchid - 08-14-2011 Only way you can change you s-ip is by either calling your isp or change to a different isp. |
