Adobe Fireworks - Noobiew - 10-05-2009

I am an Adobe Fireworks fan! In my opinion it is better for banners, layouts and all web related things than Photoshop Smile.

Noobiew

Never used it myself. Gotta try it one of these days. What makes it different from Photoshop really??

RE: Adobe Fireworks - Skill - 10-05-2009

Satan, feel free to post some. I want to see any projects from Adobe Fireworks, I am considering getting it.

RE: Adobe Fireworks - Alex - 10-05-2009

Fireworks is meant more for webdesign (it was originally a macromedia product after all). While photoshop is meant for more for graphic design. So Fireworks does shapes and colors well but it's not the best for graphics like signatures.

At the moment I am learning it Smile. Well in my opinion Fireworks is lot of easier than Photoshop! And I mean really a lot! When I have some time I will upload one of my (newish) banners).

Satan, to me they look great but that's not from a professional eye.

I'd love to create things like them on a professional basis, I will definitely get hold of Adobe Fireworks, probably sometime later on this week.

Keep practicising, you'll get better each time.

RE: Adobe Fireworks - Zoidberg - 10-05-2009

I love the last picture you posted Satan.

As mentioned, fireworks and photoshop are two different pieces of software for two different things. They may be similar for basic things but if you really get into both of the programs you will see the differences between them.
