Post Bug - Deltron - 03-24-2011 I'm not sure whether the post was junked, deleted, etc., but the following post does not show up: http://www.supportforums.net/showthread.php?tid=17167&pid=180386#pid180386 It says that the last post was by Hitachi, but nothing shows. When clicking the post link, it is just re-directed to my thread. Hitachi's posts: http://www.supportforums.net/search.php?action=results&sid=652f0e22b6e59f720cbd694b769e668a Anyone else having the same problem? RE: Post Bug - AceInfinity - 03-24-2011 I don't understand the conflict that you're trying to describe here, but i've never had this happen before. You didn't make it clear enough to understand for others. You say the post doesn't show up but it goes to your thread. Where does it say last post was by Hitachi? :S (In your UserCP?) You didn't make it clear enough to understand for others. Basically, it says that Hitachi posted in my thread, but it doesn't show. But if you go through his posts, it says he posted: "nice tutorial. could be quite useful ". It says that the last post was by Hitachi in my UserCP, as well as in the Video Gaming section where it shoes my thread. Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Post Bug - AceInfinity - 03-24-2011 Ahh, I see it now in his posts, today at 1:47pm on my board time. It says he posted: Code: Thread: [Tutorial] How to Play Xbox on a Computer Monitor But it just gets directed to the first post in your thread. His post probably got deleted somehow. RE: Post Bug - Deltron - 03-24-2011 If it was removed, which I doubt it was, wouldn't it show that the last post was by Baked? http://www.supportforums.net/showthread.php?tid=17167&pid=180235#pid180235 RE: Post Bug - AceInfinity - 03-24-2011 (03-24-2011, 03:49 PM)Deltron Wrote: If it was removed, which I doubt it was, wouldn't it show that the last post was by Baked? No, not really, things get left behind in the database. Kind of like the way internet caching works. RE: Post Bug - Splodge0007 - 03-25-2011 This has been happening quite frequently on MyBB sites, would be nice for a fix. RE: Post Bug - Eve - 03-25-2011 I know what you mean, I have seen the glitch before on other MyBB sites. It is a known problem. The "missing post" appears after a delay, like now. RE: Post Bug - AceInfinity - 03-25-2011 It seems to have showed up now. I've seen this happen after deleting a few spam posts as well on another forum RE: Post Bug - Omniscient - 03-25-2011 Unknown glitch. Can't be fixed because we can't repeat it. It just happens. I feel it's related to cache or sessions. |
