Reducing Firefox's Used Memory - ßeowulf - 10-17-2009

As we all know, Firefox is an incredible web browser for a computer specialist. It's fast, offers many useful add-ons, and best of all it's open source.

But despite these obvious pluses, Firefox does have one weakness: it just uses up too much memory. Take a look.

But that's before Firefox Ultimate Optimizer.

Firefox Ultimate Optimizer is a lightweight program that drastically reduces the memory used by Firefox. It runs on start-up (no, it's not malware), and you never have to worry about it, as the memory used is usually less than one megabyte.

Thank you for your time.
P.S. I couldn't find a better place to post this in; maybe a moderator could help me?

We have a browser section here. I reported it to be moved there.

Anyway, good post. My firefox is using around 100k at the moment I think, but that's because I have it set for optimum speed. Big Grin
