Steam Account | What does this mean? - Gregarious - 01-02-2011

Ok, I have MW2 on my steam account. The Campaign works but the multiplayer loads up and shows a black screen.

Does this have anything to do with it?...

Ah you have been VAC banned which means that you cannot play on VAC2 secure servers, this includes MW2 and any other game you have that you can play online.

This ban is permanent and is caused when you cheat on your account. You will need to get a new Steam account a re-buy all your games if you wish to play online again.

DO NOT buy games on this account as they will become banned too.

Banned from secure servers because of a cheating infraction.

Ouch, for how much did you buy the steam account? Did he indicate that the account is VAC banned?

I'm sorry but that isn't true, MW2 and games like css and tf2 aren't linked together when vacbanned for one or the other.
I have the same thing. Got vacced on CSS, TF2, but not on Black ops, which is on the same account.

(Where it sais u are banned for a cheating infraction, theres a link u can click to show what games u are banned from)

Not only that It's banned, but trading/re-distributing steam accounts, is against the "Steam User-Agreement". It could get your account terminated, It's also most likely a hacked account. Which is Illegal.
