VST's - AceInfinity - 11-14-2010

I was wondering what kind of VST's I should test out next with my FL studio 9?

I already have lots, but I was wondering if anyone else knows a few that they found were good, and I should try.

Here's a list of some of the VST's I use the most:

• Vanguard
• V-Station
• SuperSaw
• Hydra
• Junglist
• Camal Phat
• Ohmicide

I'm not looking for presets though. I make all my own sounds, and synths myself. The only parts that I don't make are voice samples from other music, that I'll slice and put into the piano roll.

I personally like Toxic Biohazard.

I believe that's one of the defaults with FL Studio, so I do have that one, but I've never really gotten into using it yet Smile

You make Hardstyle?
What do you make the bass with? Hydra?

Hydra or Junglist, and then I do finishing touches with the 7 band parametric EQ, compressor, and I use Camphat 3 to give it an extra crunch. IZotope for the final stage to change it's sound qualities.

Same. I use Hydra, with EQ 2, Phat 3 & FL multiband. Two channels though with different settings.

Good stuff, I'd like to hear some of your work if you wouldn't mind sharing it on SF Smile I've started to get into Abelton recently, and I think it's a fairly good program.

I've never released anything I've ever made publicly. Maybe soon, but I'm more into house than hardstyle.
I'm too scared to switch from FL to anything else.

Same, that's the difficult part, but FL starts to get annoying, and from some of the reviews, you can do a lot more in Abelton as well, and it seems to be more user friendly with sound recording too.

I do make some house, kind of like Deadmau5, but I haven't really made a complete track yet in that genre.

RE: VST's - Cybr - 02-24-2011

It does have it's flaws, but it's tolerable and for me there isn't much to complain about.

I love Deadmau5, amazing progressive house. My favorite house subgenres are electro house/dutch house. Like Afrojack, Sidney Samson, DJ Chuckie, Bobby Burns, etc.
