RE: ☺ The Top of the Line Top 5 Anti-Viruses Around Town ☺ - bling111 - 05-07-2011 I personally not really like Malwarebytes as a anti-virus. I believe Malwarebytes is awesome when it is used as a tool to scan your computer for malware but not for real-time protection. The others in the list are greath though. Well it has never been an anti-virus to begin with. It only serves as a supplementary scanner. However I've seen people using the PRO version as their only anti-virus that is what I meant;) RE: ☺ The Top of the Line Top 5 Anti-Viruses Around Town ☺ - Quintus - 05-12-2011 Indeed. People need a good grasp of what basic security means. RE: ☺ The Top of the Line Top 5 Anti-Viruses Around Town ☺ - Nympho - 05-18-2011 In my opinion the best one is ESET, next is MBAM and third - Avira.. Plus one good firewall and your system is perfect! Actually I am kidding. I prefer Linux and you will never have problems with malicious software.. ;d RE: ☺ The Top of the Line Top 5 Anti-Viruses Around Town ☺ - AceInfinity - 05-18-2011 (05-18-2011, 12:49 PM)Nympho Wrote: In my opinion the best one is ESET, next is MBAM and third - Avira.. Not never, but it's a very small chance. RE: ☺ The Top of the Line Top 5 Anti-Viruses Around Town ☺ - Nympho - 05-18-2011 Small chances are better than BIG chances.. RE: ☺ The Top of the Line Top 5 Anti-Viruses Around Town ☺ - Quintus - 05-19-2011 The OP should include "For Windows Users Only" in the title since the discussion kind of goes astray. It's not a big chance if you know what you're doing though too RE: ☺ The Top of the Line Top 5 Anti-Viruses Around Town ☺ - Stiggie - 05-19-2011 I personally had ESET before, but i didn't like it, because i didn't feel secure. I don't know how to tell this but. Every time i scanned a file, it 30% out of 100% it would say that the file could not be scanned, because it couldn't open it or something like that. Now however i had MBAM, Avira with Comodo firewall. And i feel safe now. |
