I personally not really like Malwarebytes as a anti-virus. I believe Malwarebytes is awesome when it is used as a tool to scan your computer for malware but not for real-time protection. The others in the list are greath though.

Well it has never been an anti-virus to begin with. Tongue It only serves as a supplementary scanner.

Yes you are correct! However I've seen people using the PRO version as their only anti-virus that is what I meant;)

Indeed. People need a good grasp of what basic security means.

In my opinion the best one is ESET, next is MBAM and third - Avira..
Plus one good firewall and your system is perfect!

Actually I am kidding. I prefer Linux and you will never have problems with malicious software.. ;d

Not never, but it's a very small chance.

The OP should include "For Windows Users Only" in the title since the discussion kind of goes astray. Roflmao

It's not a big chance if you know what you're doing though too

I personally had ESET before, but i didn't like it, because i didn't feel secure. I don't know how to tell this but. Every time i scanned a file, it 30% out of 100% it would say that the file could not be scanned, because it couldn't open it or something like that. Now however i had MBAM, Avira with Comodo firewall. And i feel safe now.
