Also, will the mods be able to see IPs so they can keep it under control?

Yes Staff can see the IP's of the poster.

Yes, staff can see the IP of the posters. In case it isn't clear, you need to log out and then make the post to post anonymously.

That was the first thing that came to my mind when i read this thread. The moderators would have to be able to see the username, but it would be anonymous to everybody else. I think it would be a big help!

Moderators cannot see the usernames, but we can simply do an IP check for all users having that IP to see who it is.

You need to log out to post anonymously which means the only way to identify the user is by doing a simple IP Address check against all the users.

I doubt we will get any trolling here on SF anyway.
