I was recently diagnosed with IBS (Irratable Bowel Syndrome ) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irritable_bowel_syndrome . It causes my stomach to hurt a lot and extreme cramping... My condition is so serious I have to go see a specialist thursday to receive medication.. I told the first doctor I went to that a lot of times im anxious and then my stomach hurts so they might give me something for anxiety which makes my stomach hurt and stress... Anyone else with these conditions or know what medicines they will give me?
I do not have any of these conditions, however, they will probably not give you any drugs that will cause you to get "high" or feel funny, if that's what you're wondering. They might give you a pill to eat or something, I wouldn't really know, I'm not the best in this area. PM me for my msn though if you ever need help with your anxiety, etc.
I have IBS, which I inherited from my mother (Who neglected to tell me she had it and it was hereditary until i started complaining of stomach aches and irregularity -lovely right?) I have never been on medication for it and as far as I know neither has she. I do often get severe stomach aches and often am consumed for that entire day in the restroom after I swallow ANY thing at all. The only thing that helps me is an understanding family, relieving stress (which Im horrible at), and I just try to push through it until the next day. But make sure YOU know what medication they are giving you before you take anything. Ask questions lots and lots of questions. Questions are your friend. Ask the side-effects, the alternatives to that drug, what's in the drug, what are the long term effects, etc.
I went to the specialist and I recieved some medication called Levsin Sl which will help with the IBS
Very interesting. How often do you have to take them? Do they have any unusual side effects?
Well my doctor is giving me a trial if they work good i'll take them twice a day... If they don't we move on to a new medication... Side affects are dry mouth, and double visioin, blurred vision to... My doctor said to mostly worry about the dry mouth and to drink plenty of fluids.
