If you'd like to take a shot at making official SF Avatars please post them in this thread. Those chosen will be placed in the Officials avatar gallery for all users to choose. The image will be named after your username.

Images should be original and under 25k.

There's this user, The Major, who posted a thread recently of his design and I feel like it has huge potentially for being the official avatar. Even if he did just take pieces from the site's banner and put them together, it's still dead on and looks as if it came with the banner as a set. Take a look for yourself:
