Anyone try this yet? It's in beta mode.

Quote:The Ubuntu developers are moving quickly to bring you the latest and greatest software the Open Source Community has to offer. This is the Ubuntu 9.10 beta release, which brings a host of exciting new features.

Note: This is a beta release. Do not install it on production machines. The final stable version will be released on October 29th, 2009.

I will probably dual boot this when it's released.

I will probably dual boot this when it's released.

I'm gonna get it on the official release date. I don't want to experiment with the only computer I have at the moment.
A better idea. I do what i do with windows, (But a smaller timespan).

Wait for a load of updates to be done (1 month/2 months) then install it. They always have big bugs first.
Yea I have it dual-booting along side 9.04. It's pretty nice.

Which one is faster + more stable?
Well 9.04 should be more stable but if you want true stability 8.04 maximum stability 8.04 would be the best option.

I'm sure 9.10 will run fine without problems as hopefully with only 22 days left it's just minor changes.
I'm downloading now. Ubuntu has been a really good OS currently, but I prefer Windows.
I would just wait until .10 is fully released. I love the name though, 'Karmic Koala'.
I'll wait till it's fully released. I'm currently running Ubuntu 9.04, it's great so far.
Going to try it out Smile
Updating my laptop, it has 9.04 atm.
