I doubt it. The BIOS on them doesn't give you very many options and doesn't have those basic options required for overclocking.
I may be wrong but its a Pentium D right? Those things get really hot, really fast even on a light, underclocked load so for your processors sake you may not want to.
Its a Peanutum D [xD]
Bios flash? maybee?
I wouldn't recommend it. Could result in overheating.
Yes you can but it's a software overclock.
Search for Clockgen.exe. Made by the same people that did cpuz.exe. I run Dells and have had good success with overclocking with Clockgen.
Sorry about the noobish question. But what is over clocking?
Overclocking is the process of running a computer component at a higher clock rate (more clock cycles per second) than it was designed for, thus getting more power out of it. It's a process that could damage your system, if done poorly, though.
Thank you. I had an idea that is effected performance. I just didn't know how.
Sigh, i know clockgen, but what PLL i must choose omni?
DOH!!, My PC died, and No, i didnt OC it, it just plain died.
Edit: The motherboard died, one of the chips is missing some pins.
Got a new PC, so it doesnt matter.
