My girlfriend is having suicidal thoughts.I've helped her a lot by sometimes I don't know how to react.I've suggested a visit to a pshycologist and she agreed.How can I deal with this?

How old are you, and do you know why she is acting like this?

Just keep her busy. Find things to do with her. I think she should see a psychologist.
Strange isnt it? People have suicidal thoughts and everyone says go to a psychologist. Somebody has thoughts of killing others, but we just disregard it until it is provoked or attempted, then we say see a psychologist. I won't give an answer because I don't know her age. If she is 14,15,16...she won't do it. I don't know her but chances are she wont do it, just attention whoring.
Just do your best to comfort her and tell her that many people have it much worse than she does & things will get better with time.
