Guys, i had some problem.. i'd just installed Ubuntu 10.10
Can you teach me how to install YM + Skype from beginning to the end?
I'm windows user.. Already switch New OS( Ubuntu )

Just install a program called Wine, which will give you the compatibility and support to run Windows programs. Or you can get CrossOver, which is slightly better.
Is it CrossOver we need to pay to get it?

Yeah, the trial version can be run for 30 days. CrossOver is the commercial version of Wine.
Use Wine
Done..

You could have also done it through Ubuntu Software Center. I don't know about Yahoo! Messenger but I think Skype should be in there if you search it.
I'm using Pidgin to connect yahoo messenger and other like aim, facebook chat and etc.
