I just had to let this out, I am taking a break. In what you ask? Girls, I am through with crushes and stuff till my junior year, then I'd start again. I am too young and that should speak some sense into you guys that are my age, 13-14, its good to be sexually active but its really not a great thing when you have a girlfriend when your young. Don't get me wrong, I am straight and will watch porn forever... but GFs -- It gets annoying after awhile, you break up and thats it -- at such a young age. You should enjoy what you've got before you get a girlfriend, flirt with all girls you come across and play with them and enjoy your life. Thats my idea, I am probably going to start looking for a girlfriend over the end of the second semester of my sophmore year.
What do you guys think?
It's a perfectly fine choice to make, perhaps it's not the right one for you though because it sounds like you want or wanted more than that and are giving up.

I hear you out & this is what most boys your age should do. Most relationships that starts that early anyways, don't last your whole life. Don't get me wrong, it's a great experience to have a girlfriend, but some guys just aren't meant to have one at their age. Maybe the problem is with them or not mature enough. You seem mature enough, so I'm not pointing fingers at you so much. I never have "crushes" on girls though, just like a girl & go for her.
I think it's a pretty mature decision of you. I was actually going to try this a few months ago. I failed miserably because this amazing girl came around. I've been with her for two months. Hopefully you are more successful with it than I am. Good luck!

I was 15 when I first got a long term GF, who I swas together with for 2 years.
If I would not been together with her, I would know nothing about girls and how to treat them.
Teenage and young age is the right time to get a GF, you break up and get another one. This is what most teenagers do.
And is actually right, you can explore different girls and learn how to treat them, you can explore life.
Since you are that young, you dont love any girl, maybe like, but love, so it doesnt really matter if you get another one.
