Read books, learn about life.

I love to read, when these pseudo-intellectual kids start to argue about god and life.
You think you have figured out all the life questions? What is god, what is life, what is love, how everything works?

Anyone in his right ming would know that making a argument about god leads nowhere.
Some people have faith, some dont. crap happens.

You have no proof of god existing and him not existing.

Aside from you not reading the thread and just flaming everyone saying your opinion is right,
that's generally what I was alluding to the entire thread.
I was mostly referring to OP and anyone who actually argued against him.
I did read the thread.

I did not say my opinion was "THE RIGHT OPINION"
But faith is the only link between man and god, even Albert Einstein said that.
There is no other way to explain or prove his existans.

Awesome, I agree entirely.

The entire thread has been OP pretty much saying science disproves "God"
and that the Christians only say faith exists because they have no other
excuse for "God" to exist.
Can you disagree with that, with proven facts?

Or you are just stalking my every post?

I'm pretty sure you're not reading posts any more,
I just said I agree with you, and that's what I've been saying the entire
thread.

And I guess you could say I am, since you're the only person posting right now.

Since you have been attacking my every post past 10 minutes.
I instantly thought that was sarcasm, that very much looked like sarcasm.

Nope.

guess you really *weren't* reading the thread, or you'd have known that wasn't sarcasm.
You seriously think anyone would read 6 pages of crap?
(03-15-2011, 04:08 PM)Socrates Wrote: [ -> ]One im not naive, lol. Now that that is cleared up. SCIENCE is not all theories...there is proof. Any god that is omnipotent, and omnipresent is impossible. It's like saying Barak Obama can be in the USA and France at the geneva convention at the same time. Furthermore it breaks the rules of physics, but since physics is nothing more then a theory as you put it then why believe in gravity or anything else? Furthemore to add to my rant, the bible was rewritten by the vatican , that's why some bibles say king james version. The english church had the bible stripped of scriptures that they didn't want the public to know, and that is FACT ! There is testimony from other disciples never even known to most christians because they are to arrogant and Naive to do any research of their own. So before you believe a book that is older then your great grandmother ask yourself why it was seized and rewritten? Then study some science gain some logic and maybe then you will realize that it is highly unlikely a deity is looking down on us. Notice I said "Highly unlikely ". Im an agnostic . But science is close just not close enough.

First off, I'm not Christian, nowhere close.
Secondly, I didn't say science was full of theories, but that space science is full of theories. Why do you think they call the big bang theory a theory. I see no reason as to why it should be believed over any religion.

Or rather, maybe you should Realize that Atheists aren't exempt from
providing proof. Considering you're basing God's non-existence off logic,
LOGICALLY, there's probably some things in this world that
can't be explains using logic, or things you can't understand by calculation.
So LOGICALLY, providing proof that the above statement isn't true is
needed, and not just some unalienable fact. "God doesn't exist because of
logic" isn't a fact.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ontological_argument

Try that. That uses logic/reasoning/intuition to deduce the existence of
"God".

Now you're just missing the point, what I said does exempt Atheists from providing proof.

Besides who says science is what should disprove God? I think the hypocrisy displayed by his followers and the Bible do a damn good job of that.

Once again, I value facts, or at least visible evidence that the theory in question is correct, which schience can and has provided millions of times.
