I think we need a batch section in the coding area.
I agree. I think this would be a great addition.
Why? 90% of batch scripts are used with malicious intents. The only time I've seen a batch script used legally was to merge a password list, which was used to bruteforce, which is also illegal.
I have used bash scripts to do lite jobs set on cron.
I think this would fall into an "Other" category along with some smaller less useful, less powerful languages.
I agree with TimK, I don't think it's got enough popularity to have it's own section, at least not here, and at least yet.
