I've had enough of this crap. I'm fed up of people trampling each other to get somewhere in life, I'm fed up of seeing people get exploited in the name of money, I'm fed up of seeing endless people getting killed in imperialist wars. I get awfully depressed that we life in such an awful world, and I feel impotent that I can't do anything to change it... It's just not fair. Me and my classmates are constantly bombarded with anti-socialist propaganda that glorifies the System and harshly criticises socialism. I can see through it but less intelligent class members will not be able to do so. It's sickening to see that the people that write books have nothing better to do than brainwash children so that they grow up they will support capitalism... I want to be able to change the world, but I know that we are few... endless peopele have already been brainwashed.
i hear ya bro,it is avery dangerous and provokative world that we live in.sometimes it just makes me sick to the stomach.Just full of propaganda and wanting people to believe everything they say.A blanket of lies and bullcrap to duisguise the world we really live in,full of money hungry powers that may be just controlling everything for us.At the same time i believe that people should be strong enough to believe what they want to believe and see the truth for what it really is..............

Powerful emotions. Life isn't fair and there is really nothing you can do to change that. Every system in the world has made this attempt at fairness but it's a fantasy more than a reality. That's because fairness is based on an individuals opinion. What one person believes is fair may be an injustice to another. That's how it goes.
Capitalism wasn't designed to be fair. And socialism has always proven to fail because you cannot expect the ambitious of the world to support the lazy. Communism and socialism probably have a place in this world but so does capitalism.
As a race (humans) our civilization is still very new. It's realistically only about 30,000 years old.

Maybe I'm getting off-topic but imho when you view the bigger picture it helps to realize that todays problems are minor and in 20,000 years might be considered insignificant.

When people do good, share, or are charitable it should be because that's who they are. Not because their government tells them to do it.
Zeon would you be happy if every Saturday and Sunday you were told that you had to spend the time feeding the homeless? Would you be okay with the government telling you that you could only use your computer 2 hours a day because they required you to share your time online? Are you kidding? 40 years is crap. And realistically the USSR started around 1917 so it's more like 70 years but even that is very short. \
USA founded in 1776 by declaring the Declaration of Independence from England. We're now 235 years old and #1 in the world. Something the USSR could never claim even at it's peak.
There is no long standing historical evidence that socialism or communism works well. For most of the Soviet Union it was forced down their throats. Same for Cubans. Same for Chinese. If these countries held a vote the people would kick out the communists immediately.
Iceland is supposedly the oldest current Democracy since 930 AD. And the theory of Democracy began in 40BC and has been successful in many forms and long lasting empires.
Communism is an ideal more than a functional system of government.
