Hello everyone,

I was trying to install Cain and Abel on my Mac using Wine. It keeps giving me this error. It would be great if someone could help me out here as I am stuck.

I also tried to install ION (Xbox 360 IP Sniffer), it installs but when I start the app, it shows up in the dock, then just disappears. I would be very greatful if someone experienced could help me out with my situation.

Thanks

far from it.

Cain And Able is a tool designed for network administrators.

while Wireshark intercepts traffic between the machine and the external inferface.
Yes, but is there a way to filter IPs so I only get IPs from port 3074?
I did some googling and I got these if they help:

Only got that :p

Anyway this ubuntu thread is dealing with WINE; you should check it out.
Firstly, what are you using OS X for. Secondly, what are you using Cain and Abel for? There may be an alternative.

Nvm, Wireshark works also. Thanks anyways.
I had that same problem, but wireshark works for my purposes, so I dont really need to worry about it.
On Mac OS X, Debookee do the same traffic interception as Abel and Cain.
You can see your traffic and the traffic of the devices you intercept, listing them by protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, DHCP, DNS, etc ...

Nice GUI as well:
