Hello;

In the welcoming mat, many a members are thrusting themselves up with there post count. I understand the ideology of the more posts you have the more respected you are, but I believe this is a way of cheating that system.

People need to post quality information to boost themselves up - not simply welcome people. Though I do, personally, enjoy welcoming members, some individuals simply do it to better there position.

So in a summary, disable the post count in the Welcome Mat.

I agree wholeheartedly. It's probably inevitable that this be put in, there's just too much abuse.

I second that. We don't want a repeat of what happened on HF. Nothing wrong with members genuinely welcoming newcomers but if it becomes a problem, disable it.

I quadruple that decision. ;)
