Alright, so I got a check for 2,000$ a week or so ago.. I checked it out, took it to a bank and they said it was real.. so I was like, SCORE!..

Apparently it was fake, I now owe 2,000$ to that bank in 24 hours. I have no idea how I'm going to do this, my mom is basically taking the brunt of it for me and I think I can officially nominate myself for worst son of the year award.. What can I do guys??
Its the banks fault, If the lady or man who took it said it was legit then you cant be blamed for that. Especialy if you already have spent it. Appeal to someone about it like police. im not sure.
take it 2 small claims court and get ur self a lawyer
u shouldnt have 2 pay for there mistake
its not like u did it on purpose
It is not your fault, it is the banks.
id try bkotz idea and get them to pay for it because you were hesitant at first and they verified and said its legit therefore it is their fault so don't pay for it get a lawyer and small claims court it is good luck Smile
You specifically asked if it was legit and they cashed it, take them to court.
