Quote: <div id="logo">
The mentioned element is not allowed to appear in the context in which you've placed it; the other mentioned elements are the only ones that are both allowed there and can contain the element mentioned. This might mean that you need a containing element, or possibly that you've forgotten to close a previous element.

One possible cause for this message is that you have attempted to put a block-level element (such as "<p>" or "<table>") inside an inline element (such as "<a>", "<span>", or "<font>").

Don't know what the problem is with this Tongue
My logo is acting up, not staying in place though, so I got it validated.

Any ideas on fixing this?
A bit more of the code:
PHP Code:
<body>
<
div id="wrapper">
<
div id="header">

        <
a href="index.php<?php echo $referral_string?>">
        <
div id="logo">
        </
div></a>
        <
div id="updates">
        <
span>&nbsp;</span>
        </
div>
        <
div id="login">
         <
div id="loginwelcome"
</div></a>
swith that
</a> </div>

To the other yes i know the above mistake. But i dont think it will make a difference to make it like this.

PHP Code:
<body>
<
div id="wrapper">
<
div id="header">

        <
a href="index.php<?php echo $referral_string?>">
        <
div id="logo"></a>
        </
div>
        <
div id="updates">
        <
span>&nbsp;</span>
        </
div>
        <
div id="login">
         <
div id="loginwelcome"
Are you closing the wrapper and header divs?
You still need to close 4 div tags in that code. Their IDs are "wrapper", "header", "login", and "loginwelcome".

You just bumped a month old thread, it's been solved by others too already though
